Clump Sensor issue/question
Hello everyone! I already posted this to the Facebook group, but thought there might be a few different people on here so I am double posting.
Running the warm up file for the first time (without yarn) and I'm having a clump error over and over again at the same point in the program. It happens on the rear bed after the fifth yarn carrier is parked on the left side of the machine. It seems to me that the carriage is possibly dropping the carriers a little too close to the bed which crowds the area and trips the clump sensor. I cannot correct the issue until I move the fifth carrier out of the way and then I can rotate the sensor back into place. Any advice would be helpful! Thank you.
This is what it looks like right before the fifth carrier is parked. Everything is neat and orderly and then the fifth one gets placed very close behind the fourth.

Hi Christine, I ran the warm-up file on a machine of ours, and I found the same issue. I edited the kcode a bit, so the feeders are spaced out better: carriers 3 and 4 are fully overlapped now, leaving more room for 1,2,5, and 6. You can find the new version 1.1 here. Please give it a try and let us know!

Thanks Gerard Rubio. The new warm-up file works great. No more issues. Now onto actual knitting!

Hi there,
We are having the same issue with a 3 colored jacquard here.
Gerard Rubio would you please share what was adjusted in the file to allow us to fix the problem on our machine?

Hi Lila Rousselet ,
try setting the stopping distance to 3 or 4 so that feeders are parked a bit further away from each other. Please let us know if this doesn't work!

Thanks Ariadna, I am about to try it!
