Great stuff, any way to release already working software as pre-release version, while we wait on extra features/frontend developers etc ? Wonder if updated version would allow us to make beanies and dare I say socks :D

No March shipment has not yet been dispatched or maybe I have missed an update . I understand this is a difficult time.

    Hi Catriona and Christine,

The March shipment has not been dispatched yet. We are currently negotiating with our shipping agent and hope to ship the machines soon. Catriona I have answered your email with more specific information about your machine.

We understand it's been quiet for a while now and are working on a new update to be released soon.

    Hope this helps for now!

    Best,

    Jipke

    Hi D3VUR,

Unfortunately we won't be able to release anything prior to the official release.

A beanie template will be part of the release, so yes that should be possible! However, knitting socks, in the traditional way, is not possible on our machine. If you want to knit socks you could explore alternative patterns and experiment with them!

    Best,

    Jipke

D3VUR, I am also having Kniterate sock fantasies.

My current plan it to experiment with sock tubes, starting with ribbing, knitting a tube, and doing a toe at the other end. Then you can just cut in a heel. (My favorite is from Lara Neel's book, but she has a freebie pattern called Fork in the Road that shows off the construction.) That same book has a afterthought heel with a gusset that I also think would be possible.

I also wonder about spiral socks, where the ribbing moves every couple rows. (No-Heel Spiral Socks by La Maison Rililie)

Not to mention, based on the the masks they showed on Instagram, short row heel socks could be possible.
