2:2 Rib knitting involves alternating between 2 wales of single jersey on the front bed and 2 wales of single jersey on the back bed. By default, the canvas is made up of front bed single jersey, so you will only have to draw alternate vertical lines of "knit rear" stitches.
Open the stitch selector in the toolbar on the left, and select "knit rear".
Racking the needle bed is unnecessary when knitting a 2:2 rib because the needles in use are not directly opposite of each other. This means there is no risk of colliding needles.
Select the line drawing tool and draw pairs of wales alternating between front bed and rear bed single jersey.
