Use the different available shaping commands depending on which part of the panel you are working on:
Increase transfers
Apply this command to areas with increases, for example a sleeve panel.
Open the Increase transfers command and pick a selection (the whole area with increases). Click on the grey rectangle to apply the selection. The program will handle all single-stitch increases.
Select your style from the dropdown.
Enter the transfer settings in the Transfer options field: roller 0 stitch 0 speed 120
Decrease transfers
Apply this command to areas with decreases, for example a sleeve cap.
Open the Decrease transfers command and pick a selection (the whole area with decreases). Click on the grey Selection button to apply the selection. The program will handle all single-stitch and 2-stitch decreases.
Select your style from the dropdown.
Enter the transfer settings in the Transfer options field: roller 0 stitch 0 speed 120
Neckline Shaping
Apply this command to neckline shapes in which there is a separation between both sides.
Open the Neckline shaping command and select an area. Make sure the selection includes the entire shaped area (armhole and neckline) and extends across the entire width of the canvas up to the white frame. The program will handle all single-stitch and 2-stitch decreases, as well as the central part of the neckline, with a bind-off.
Bind-off
Since the Decrease transfers and Neckline shaping commands cannot handle decreases of more than 2 stitches, the armhole area on both body panels and sleeves usually needs to be finished with bind-offs on both sides.
To do that, make sure the decreases on both sides of the panel are not on the same row.
Then check the yarn directions to make sure the feeder performing the bind-off is on the correct side of the knit.
Select the stitches to be closed, then apply the selection. If necessary, change the bind-off direction, side, and yarn in the command.
Repeat on both sides of the knit. Your pattern should look like this after applying both bind-offs, and there should be two Bind-off layers in the stack.
