Carriage stuck
Do anyone have experience in a stuck carriage?
I have knitted almost 30 scarves, without any problems.......to say it, I am amazed how beautiful the Kniterate knits.
But I hade a strange experience for the secound last scarf I started, the machine knitted only on one side, made a mess. Tried again, and again, it seemed like the knitting was perfect from "abow" but turned out that it did not go down to the roller, so I stopped it before the clumb sensor did.
Cleaned it, just in case, no......then I reinstalled the command.kc to the card (it was the same command.ck I knitted 3 previous scarf woth just before...but strange enough after reinstalling the file....the machine knitted perfect again......one scarf....
Trying next scarf,......same happened, had problems to knit right, then suddenly it was like the machine "wake up" and knitted perfect again....all until it had done about 10 cm of the bindoff process......then the machine stoped like it was finished. No "error codes" or "stop codes" in display.
Turned the machine of, to release the knitting, but discovered that the carriage (car) was stuck, it moved about 1-2 mm in both direction, but feels like it's stuck in some metal.
I am affraid that it's maybe a loose screw (as all screws when I got the machine was loose, no "lock.tight" and I tighten all I could reach when I discovered that.
Anyone else been in to "stuck carriage", need advises, not want to start do anything as the unit are only 4 months old and still under warranty.

Ole Johan Aanestad I am having a similar problem. I paused a program in the middle of knitting and accidentally turned the machine off. Now the carriage is stuck because the needles are still engaged. I can't move it manually or 'home' it or start a new program. There must be a way to fix this.

Update: After turning the machine on and then off again, I was able to manually move the carriage out of the way. I tried this before and initially gave up because it wouldn't budge, but then I realized I had only tried moving it in one direction. In mine case, the carriage could only be moved to the right and not the left.
