Bind off
Hi, we are having problems with the bind off process as it's tearing. We have changed the tension, stitch size and we are now trying the fix the position of the brushes. I saw from a previous post that EcoKnitwear suggested bending them into shape but we feel really reluctant to do this!
Kniterate said they would release an update to the bind off process by Christmas, has this been done?
Thanks,
Flora

Hi OJ .... OJ here to ;-)
Thanks.
Yes, you're correct.
My thoughts about experimenting with this was based on that I saw the bindoff errors occured in the transfer process and seeing that changing stitches-types in the knitting process actually "bind off" or at least release the front bed (or the rear bed (depending on)) so I just did a experiment and it turned out to work perfectly. (Beginner luck)
I was asking a question on the discussion site if anyone know if there are an possability to save our own start/bind-off sets in the app.
It would been very helpful as I also have changed the start stitches (just deleted the first 21 rows), thats fast and easy to do. This start-setup - never mess up the start (as the original do).
But for the bind-off, you have to ad and delete rows,....it was anoying , so yesterday I did a new experiment, that works same good as the one I posted abow.
Simply, delete the two transfer lines (that was where the red mark are), thats it......perfect result every time and a "smaller" bind off line (end).
I know the yarn are very thin, but the hole point are to knit scarves that are very light (200 gram, 60 x 220 cm)0 -
Just wanted to say this looks great and lovely to see someone knitting with such fine yarn.
What roll and stitch size and speed are you using for both the main knit and the cast-on / bindoff - Maybe you can share the buck file (or images which include the speed / roll etc) with the community as I am sure people would be interested in knitting finer garments as well :)

Catriona we have sent you an updated bind-off which I think should work for you.
You cant use the standard bind-off as your are using stitch size 10 for the knit - I think that is why your bind-off was failing.
Let us know if it works for you - Its worked for some other people who have the same issues.
