    Hi Giuseppina Pomponio

    Whenever you use an image to do jacquard, the backing (reversible or birdseye) is applied all over, even though the motif is only a small part of the whole image.

    If you want the jacquard applied only in the motif area, you'll have to crop the image and add single jersey rows below. In that case the “is jacquard” box must be unchecked to ensure that rear stitches are transferred to the front after the cast-on.

    Additionally, you'll have to paint a row of full-needle zigzag at the start of the jacqaurd section to cast on the rear needles.
