Dropped stitches on the right side
Hello,
So I'm triyng to knit a blanket using birdseye function, so it would be double-sided. So I need to use full algorithm with full-needle. The issue that I'm facing is dropped stitches on the right side regarding what tension/stitch size/roller adjustments I use. I tried almost every variation of borders, had my lateral tension bars as low as possible. For the adjustments, I use stitch 6 roller 400 speed 220. I've tried roller up to 700, speed lower/higher and still the dropped stitches doesn't go away. I'm using 2 ends of 2/28. Can someone give me any advice?

Hi Greta,
thanks for reaching out.
How many colors is your design? Does it have a solid color around the edges?
Our usual settings for 2 ends of 2/28 in a multicolored jacquard are:
stitch 7/ roller 800 every pass

It’s a 3 color design. One color is used for backround and the other two are just in the center. So yes, the edges are solid color.
And how about the top tension bars? I’ve tried different variatons, too loose/too tight nothing changes. And what about the speed? Thanks for answer

Thanks for the info.
In that case, instead of using the closing options in the app, I would recommend unchecking the “Close” box and placing the background color yarn in a feeder further back (4 or 5) while the other two colors go in the feeders closer to you (2 and 3). This will ensure that your edges are closed and neat.
The side tensioners should be okay if they are as far down as possible, so as tight as possible. You should observe how the yarn behaves when the carriage knits from right to left, it should look tense all the way. If you notice it's sagging, you can try tightening the top tensioners and the brake disc wheels a bit.
Regarding speed, you should be able to knit at 300-400 without a problem.
I hope this helps!

I’ve tried to unmark the “close” function, but I still have the same problem..
