Yarn in the USA

Hi kniteraters!

Nobody in my maker group knows how to use the kniterate, including me.  Im slowly learning and sharing my limited knowledge.  I have a question about yarn, how do I know what kinds of yarns to use? For example, NM6 makes no sense to me in the USA.  Does anyone have a list of what these are if I was buying yarns in Joann fabric or another craft store?  Or where I would order yarns for this machine in the USA?  Thank you!!!

  That google drive link is very helpful thank you for sharing. I am still interested if anyone has any specific retailers or links they can provide for yarns they’ve used on the knitterate.
